The Chalet known as "Rifugio Ciao Pais", built in 1930, maintains all its mountain refuge characteristics even though it has been rebuilt and renovated on several occasions, and is an ideal winter or summer base for mountain lovers. It is run by current owners, Mirko and Giusy, who have retained the chalet's style with the greatest respect for the area's traditions.

Situated 1890m above sea-level, our hotel overlooks a vast plateau surrounded by age-old woodlands and offers splendid views across the valley crowned by magnificent peaks.


Surrounded by the Triplex, Bourget and Genervis summits, the area has been christened the "Balcony of the Alps ". Not only is the chalet an ideal base for those wishing to practise a whole range of winter sports, but it is also a well-known and comfortable place to spend your summer break immersed in an unforgettable mountain setting.
